We're Rich...Not!!!

I say this because we just added up the change we found while cleaning sites at Farragut and after 6 weeks we made $1.68. Obviously we didn't do this for the money, we did it for the experience and free month of camping, what we got out of it was even more...FRIENDSHIPS. We were very fortunate to meet some great people along the way.

While work camping we were assigned to Whiltetail 2 Campground. The camphost in Whitetail 1 has been doing this for many years and we were lucky to have him as our mentor, John. Him and his girlfriend taught us the ropes from how to clean tables to making the campsite very feng shui, I say this because after cleaning each site we (Josh) had to rake the site to make it look like no one had ever stepped foot in the site. This is a very tedious task but the campers always seem to appreciate it. A side note, its a very small world, after getting to know John and Kelly during the month we discovered Kelly's mom home is on the same street as my second mom and dad in Burlington, WA. The picture below is John, and my 2nd mom and dad.

Next our boss Errin and her now husband Jason, these two individuals are the coolest and made our month at Farragut worth wile. After the camping season was over Errin and Jason and their closest family and friends were headed to Scotland to get married. We were lucky to celebrate with them at their Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties. Josh was able to play some Poker and take everyone's change and I was able to let loose and party on the dance floor with some fabulous ladies.

At the end of our month of workcamping we decided it was a tough job but happy we had the experiences and blessed we met so many new friends!
